Your treatment

Treatment approaches are individualized based on your needs and may include orthopedic physical therapy approaches including hands on manual therapy, massage, internal pelvic floor muscle treatment, biofeedback, pelvic floor muscle training "kegels", generalized strengthening, postural correction and education. Patients will receive a home exercise program that will be updated each session as you are able to progress. Patients who are consistent with their home program see results sooner and spend less time in PT.

What to Expect During Your Evaluation

Read about what to expect at your first visit right here on our blog!
Physical Therapy is considered a specialty service by most insurance companies, which means services are not covered in the same way like when you see your PCP. In most cases, Physical Therapy costs must be paid in full until your deductible has been met.
A major difference between our services, you get 55 minutes with your Pelvic PT, so you can understand your condition, what causes your concerns and how to not only see results, but understand how to self manage symptoms. You play an active role in your healing.
We are currently working to contract with insurance companies. We will provide you will documentation to submit to your insurance, upon request to apply towards your deductible.

"After delivering my baby just over a year ago, I thought life was permanently altered. I'm so excited by the change I've achieved with such minimal work! I can now sneeze without pee, use my stomach muscles without pee, and have more than 5 seconds to get to a bathroom when the urge hits. I'm just so thrilled with the progress in one short month! I highly recommend Dr. Stephanie!" - AL
