Urinary Incontinence

5/27/2021

The most common bladder concern is leakage of urine, also known as urinary incontinence. Leakage may happen with increased pressure on the bladder; like coughing or lifting, this is called Stress Urinary Incontinence. Leakage may also occur while on the way to the bathroom or with an urgency trigger like the sound of running water; this is called Urge Urinary incontinence. A combination of  leakage with stress and urge related leakage is known as Mixed Urinary Incontinence.

Regardless of what is causing your leakage, Inertia Pelvic Physiotherapy is your resource for expert care to improve your bladder health.  We will work with you to understand the details of your symptoms and then evaluate the specific function of your pelvic floor muscles. Dr. Stephanie, a pelvic health expert will identify exactly what is contributing to your symptoms and formulate a plan with you to get back to normal bladder health.

Say goodbye to panty liners and leakage! Healing starts here.
